MY STUDENTS ROCK!!!!
Quick Notes to be aware of:
I will do my part to develop the whole child by creating a classroom that is inviting, by pushing each to achieve their own excellence, and helping each child to desire to become a life long learner.
The mission of Stuttsville is to have fun learning while following directions, respecting each other, being prepared and giving 100% at all times so that we pass our EOG tests and go to fifth grade.
I graduated from the University of Oklahoma and moved to North Carolina to pursue a career in teaching. This will be my 18th year teaching at Shepherd Elementary. My husband, Cory, and I have 2 children, Kenzie is in 8h grade at Lakeshore Middle and Latt is in 5th grade here at Shepherd. It is great to be able to teach at the same school where one of my children attends. We enjoy playing at the lake all year, spending time playing games, and watching movies together. Our pets, a dog named Oreo and a cat named Opie, keep us laughing. We are active in our church (Rehobeth United Methodist Church) in Terrell.
I expect my students to give their best effort. I promise to do my best to make learning meaningful and fun, so I ask for each student to be actively engaged in learning. Plain and simple - do your best.
