Welcome to Second Grade! 

 

 

 

 

I love being so close to the mountain and the beach.  I have been married to Jeremy for eight years.  We have one son, named Slade,who is 5 years old and a little baby girl named Lilah.  Slade will begin kindergarten this year.  We are all very excited and a little nervous.  I also have a special needs dog named Mack. 

I received a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from the Univeristy of North Carolina at Charlotte in 2003.  They are responsible for my discovery of Sharon Elementary.  I was placed at Sharon during my student teaching experience.  I fell in love with the community and the family atmosphere at Sharon.  With great luck, a position opened up at the end of the 2003 school year and I was able to fill that position.  I have been at Sharon ever since.  I have taught fourth grade, kindergarten, first grade and second grade.
