About Me

      I am so excited to start a new school year at Sharon Elementary, which I know will be filled with new and amazing learning experiences.
I have been teaching for 7 years. My first 3 years of teaching were with Hillsborough County School District, where I taught kindergarten and 3rd grade. I feel very fortunate to be teaching in such a great school district this school year.
 
      I attended the University of South Florida ** and earned a Bachelors degree in Elementary Education. I love to keep up on the latest research and best practices to keep myself fresh and sharp in the classroom.
 
      Outside of the classroom, I enjoy spending time with my family. My husband and I were very excited to move to Statesville four years ago, after living in Florida. We also enjoy being outside, whether it’s taking in the fresh air and beautiful scenery, or just playing with our dogs. During the summer you can find us cruising to new places.
