My classroom mission is to ignite the passion
for learning while teaching my students the
information they will need to succeed
and have lifelong success.
 
About Me

I grew up in Statesville, North Carolina. Many years ago.....I went to Sharon Elementary, West Iredell Middle, and West Iredell High School. After graduating from West Iredell High School, I went to Western Carolina.
 
While at WCU, I received my bachelor's degree. Following graduating
from WCU, I went on to receive my Master's degree in Elementary
Education at Gardner Webb University. I have previously taught at the
American Renaissance Charter School in Statesville, in Union County, and at NB Mills Elementary. This is my 12th year, but my 2nd year teaching at Sharon and I am VERY excited to be here!!!
 
I have been married for 7 years to my husband, Eric.  We have a precious little boy, Grant that is 5 years old and a sweet little girl, Emma that is 4 months old.  Our other children, are our hyper Golden Retrievers, Gram and Chex!
