I have been teaching at Scotts Elementary since August of 1996. I received my Bachelor's and Master's Degree from Appalachian State in Elementary Education (K-6).
I set high expectations for my students. I feel every child has the potential to learn and grow as a student and a person. I expect each child to be respectful and treat everyone as he/she wants to be treated.
I have lived in North Carolina my entire life. I have a sweetheart of a son named Chance. He is a wonderful, charming little boy. I am extremely fortunate. We have a Minature Schnauzer named Button that Chance loves to wrestle. We also have a saltwater fish tank at home with a variety of fish including little "Nemos." We enjoy vacationing to the beach. I also enjoying going to concerts. I like partcipating and observing a variety of sporting events. I enjoy watching Carolina Panthers' football and Tar Heel basketball.
