About Me
 
Walter and Sara
 
I am from a family of teachers and I'm very proud of that.  My Father taught music in Kindergarten to 12th grade and even some college for about 20 years.  My Late Aunt Sally used to tease me that she liked 3rd grade so much, she stayed there.  She taught 3rd grade for most of her 40 year teaching career.  Finally, Both my Uncle Tom and Aunt Ellie teach at colleges in Utah. 
 
My Husband and I are orginially from the Pittsburgh, PA area (GO STEELERS) and both of us went to Slippery Rock University.  There, I majored in music education.  My main instrument is French Horn which I still play in Statesville's Mitchell Community Band and Five til' Five Brass Qunitet.
 
My husband, Walter, and I live in Mooresville with our cat, Persia. We are expecting our first child in April of 2013, and I will return in August.
