Our Classroom Mission

We are here to become proficient readers, writers, speakers and listeners of English.  We will do this by working diligently and by being respectful, responsible and safe.

About Me

I was born in North Carolina and have lived here most of my life. I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education from UNC-Charlotte and a Master of Arts in Intercultural Studies from Columbia International University. I enjoy traveling and spending time with my family. Cultural learning and teaching is my passion. It is my desire that I teach my students to become proficient English speakers, readers, listeners and writers as they remain proficient in their heart language. I also hope to inspire them to become lifelong learners with an appreciation for people of various backgrounds and cultures.
