Our Classroom Mission

 

Mrs. Arndt’s homeroom and 5th grade ELA classes are here to learn, be successful, and pass the EOGs. We are also here to grow socially and have fun! We will work together, be supportive, and cooperate. We will do these things by participating, working hard, studying, paying attention, and by being respectful.
 
Our class has an open door policy. Parents and Guardians please feel free to come by our class anytime! 
 
About Me

My name is Kassie Arndt and I am so thrilled to be here at Scotts! I recently graduated from the University of North Carolina Greensboro with a degree in Elementary Education. This is my fourth year teaching. This is my third year at Scotts and in 5th grade and I am looking forward to it! 
 
I was born and raised in Northern Virginia. I moved to the wonderful state of North Carolina to go to college. I fell in love with the beautiful scenery and wonderful people. My husband of seven years is from Catawba county. We have two beautiful little girls. Malena who is four years old and Kali Rae who is 2.  I am also the coach of Girls on the Run here at Scotts, it is my second year doing this and I am very excited about the opportunity. I am looking forward to a wonderful year!
