I am looking forward to starting a great year in the 5th grade! 
 
Our Classroom Mission:
 
About Me...
I grew up in upstate New York where I attended the State University of New York College at Oneonta. I received a Bachelor's degree in elementary education and moved to North Carolina in 2004 to pursue my career. I received my masters degree in Higher Education in 2009 from Appalachian State. 
 
I am currently starting my 9th year of teaching and this is my third year at Scotts Elementary. I transfered from N.B. Mills Elementary and have really enjoyed getting to know all the Scotts students and faculty.  
 
I was married 6 years ago and my husband and I have a 2 year old daughter, Audrey and an 11 month old daughter, Abby. We also have a dog, Daisy, and a cat, Kitty and they complete our family!
