My Classroom Mission 

My mission as a teacher is to develop

a passion within each child to learn,

challenge themselves, teach others,

and be successful at whatever they

put their minds to do.   

About Me 

My name is Andi Fernandez. This is my 7th year teaching. Last year I taught 1st grade and now I am returning my third year back to teaching after taking 7 years off to raise my 3 little ones.   

I am happily married to my husband Brian, who teaches here at Scotts as well.  My two girls names are Riley Blue and Tyler Rain,  and my son is  Koah Jordan.  These three keep me busy and I love every minute of it!

I grew up in Oregon, Hawaii and Guam, but love living here in North Carolina even more. I have enjoyed running my photography business Kids on Kamera the past 9 years now.            

My main passions include, reading the Bible, attending church activities, spending time with my family, taking pictures, making art, music, cooking and eating different types of foods.            

I am so excited about this year and cannot wait to get to know each student individually.  This will be a great year and am glad to be a part of each one of these student’s lives.
