Civics Classroom Mission
The mission of Mr. Cleland’s
 Civics class is to work together to
become proficient in all Civics standards
 and to always encourage each other to be
good learners and workers
in the classroom.  By doing these things,
we will become prepared
for the future and 21st Century success.

World History Classroom Mission
The mission of Mr. Cleland's World History class is to have a better understanding of world history and how it effects current events in today's world. Students will be able to make comparisons throughout world history, use primary and secondary sources, and analyze historical texts.
 
 
About Me

My name is Chris Cleland and I am orginally from Indianapolis, Indiana. I graduated from Purdue University in 2005 with a degree in Social Studies Education and have previously taught two years in Phoenix, AZ. This is my fourth year teaching at Lake Norman High School (One year at Mt. Mourne IB). Along with teaching, I also coach football and track at LNHS.
