About Me
Hello, my name is Debbie Nolen and I am excited to be at Cloverleaf. I was the school counselor at Harmony for eleven years. I am originally from Statesville and graduated from West Iredell High. I attended Mitchell Community College for one year and then transferred to Appalachian State University (Go Mountaineers!). I obtained by undergraduate degree in Psychology and Child Development and then continued at ASU to receive my Master's Degree in Clinical Psychology. I worked with children and families in the mental health field for 11 years. I decided I wanted to work with children in the school setting, so pursuing certification in school counseling at Lenoir Rhyne College became the goal. It's never a dull moment, but I love the satisfaction that comes from helping a child feel successful!!
I am married and have a daughter living in Greensboro and a son at North High. My son, Nick, is involved in sports, so most of my spare time is spent at sporting events and watching him play!! When time allows, I enjoy traveling, camping, and horseback riding. We also attend Western Avenue Baptist Church as a family.
I am at school everyday. Please contact me if you have questions or concerns about your child in which I might be able to help!
