  As, you know, my name is Mrs. Johanna Nicholson; I am a fifth year teacher, third in this state.  I am so very excited to be teaching your 3rd graders this year.  I have many ideas and activities planned for the school year as well as a great support team from fellow thrid grade teachers, our administrators here on campus, as well an exstensive list of fabulous mentors.
 
  My mission as a teacher is to teach like I always wanted to be taught: more hands-on interactive ways of learning those more complicated subject areas or skills.   I believe that each child has gifts and talents that will aid in their understanding and it is my goal to use these abilities to enhance their learning experience.
