In Mrs. Leazer's Class we are here to learn math, reading, science, social studies, phonics, and writing.  We will do this by listening, exploring, creating, solving, and following our class norms.  We will be ready for second grade by June!
 

 

 

 

I graduated from UNC Charlotte with a teaching degree in 2001.  I  started my career in Cabarrus County at Odell Elementary.  I worked as a reading teacher in second grade and then took an interim in third grade.  After that year I was hired in Iredell county to teach first grade.  This is my eleventh year in first grade and I still love it.

 

I have two wonderful children and my oldest one, Amelia, started Kindergarten this year.  It has been so much fun having her here at school with me.  My baby boy Maxwell is almost a year old and has been such a blessing to my family.
