Our Classroom Mission

The students in Mrs. Boger's class are here to learn, have fun, and to become life long learners.  We will  learn to read, write, and to solve problems to prepare us for middle school, the EOGs, and for life.  We will cooperate and respect each other. We will work hard to be the best we can be.  We will be prepared and respectful of others.

About Me
I believe it is my responsibility to encourage cognitive, social, emotional and physical development in my students.  I want my students to enjoy learning and to become lifelong learners.
I was born, many, many years ago, in Missouri, but have lived most of my life in North Carolina.
After graduating from Cary High School, I prepared for teaching by attending Appalachian State University for my undergraduate training and then East Carolina for my graduate degree.  My intial training was in Remedial Reading, then my graduate program focused on Elementary Education.
I taught eight years in Wilson Co., N.C., then four years in Chesapeake, Va. before moving to Mt. Mourne Elementary School, and then on to Coddle Creek. I am married, and have a daughter in eighth grade and a son starting third grade this year.
Thank you for allowing me this opportunity to work with your child. I look forward to a challenging, but rewarding year at Coddle Creek Elementary.  We're going to have a great year!
