My Classroom Mission

The mission of Ms. Walker’s 4th grade class is to learn our 4th grade essential curriculum so we can pass the EOG;s, be ready for 5th grade and be good citizens. We will do this by following our class norms, working hard, and paying attention. We will also help each other so we can all be successful.

 

 
About Me

This is my sixth year with I-SS and I am looking forward to another fabulous year. I was born in New York (Go Giants!) but have lived in the Charlotte area since 1986. I received my Bachelor's degree in Business from Hofstra University in NY and my MAEd. from the University of Phoenix.
 
I have 2 awesome daughters, Natalie and Rebecca. We share our home with 2 dachshunds, Mili and Tary. When I'm not teaching (my first joy) I love to spend time at the beach or outside in the garden or just hanging out with my girls. I also love to read and go to school. Learning is my favorite hobby and I hope to share that joy with my students.
