Thank you for visiting the art page! The 2012-2013 school year is off to a great start!  We are going to have a fantastic year at Lakeshore!

 

 

We come to art class to: learn about art, artists, and art history; to use our imagination to creatively explore the world of art; to create original art.  In order to learn, create art, and have fun, we must: follow directions, respect our environment and others, work together and try our best.

 

I'm a native of Statesville.  I have my undergraduate degree with a double major in Graphic Design and Religious Studies from UNC Charlotte.  I currently live in Charlotte with my wonderful husband (Gabe), and my 4 yr old daughter (Rylee). I'm also in grad school at UNC Charlotte pursing a Masters of Art in Teaching (Art Education).


If you are interested in working in the art room (or with any of the other enhancement teachers) please do not hesitate to let me know!  You can send me an email and we can set a day/time that will work with your schedule. 

Also, if anyone is interested in helping out the art room, but can not volunteer, we always need small, craft items.  Michael's or Walmart gift cards will be so greatly appreciated.  We also use baby wipes, sanitizing wipes, hand sanitizer, and markers.
