I received my BS degree from Appalachian State University and my Masters degree from Gardner Webb Univeristy. During my work at Appalachian I interned with 2nd and 5th grades.   I have worked for 14 years in the Iredell-Statesville Schools. I spent 10 of those years teaching at Celeste Henkel. During that time I taught 1st, 2nd, and 4th grades.  I worked for two years as Instructional Facilitator as Assistant Principal at Third Creek Elementary.  This is beginning my fourth year as Principal. I have a husband named David and we have three wonderful children. I am proud to be Principal at Lakeshore Elementary!
