We the students of Mrs. Coughlin's 5th grade class come to school everyday to learn.  We will be positive at all times and do our very best by working hard, putting forth our best effort, and paying attention at all times so that we may be the best that we can be.

 

 

Hello, my name is Heather Coughlin.  My family and I moved to Mooresville in June of 2008.  We moved from Hope Mills, North Carolina, just miles from Fort Bragg.  This will be my eighteenth year of  teaching in North Carolina and my fifth year at Lakeshore.  I have previously taught fourth and fifth grade, been an Accelerated Schools Coach, and a Title 1 Coordinator all within Cumberland County.  I have been married to Robert for 17 years and we have two children and two dogs.  My daughter, Kelsie, will be in 12th grade, and my son, Jack, will be in ninth grade.  My two dogs are Blue, an English Mastiff and Lola, a Boston Terrier.  I was born in Kentucky, and have lived in Georgia, Washington state, and Alabama.  I graduated from Auburn University in Auburn, Alabama.  War Eagle!  I enjoy sports, gardening and plants, decorating, and of course teaching!  Please feel free to contact me at any time.  Email is the best way to reach me.
