About Me

Welcome to Lake Norman Elementary. My name is Suzi Ras. But my Kindergarten rock star name is Ms. Buttercup. I am so happy to have your child in my class this year. This is a very important time of learning for your child socially as well as academically. I believe in a fun and hands on approach to learning and teaching each child where ever they are in a developmentally appropriate way.

        This is my 29th year teaching.  I have taught all grade levels even adults in the past. I can’t think of any other grade which is more rewarding than Kindergarten and look forward to a delicious year.

        I look forward to getting to know each and every one of you and building a long lasting relationship with you and your child. Together we can support your precious child’s growth academically and emotionally.
