My Classroom Mission:
 
This is our class mission statement for 2010- 2011.
"We come to school to learn new things like reading and sharing.
We will do this by listening and follwing the rules.  We will also learn by doing our BEST EVERY DAY ALL THE TIME!"
 
About Me:
     Welcome to Lake Norman Elementary.  My name is Sherry Morris.   I am so happy to have your child in my class this year.  This is a very important time of learning for your child and I will do my best to help him/her have a very positive Kindergarten experience.
      I would to start by telling you a little about myself. This is my 22nd year teaching school and my 18th year in Kindergarten.  As you can tell, my heart is in Kindergarten.  I have two dogs, Daisy and Boo,  that I am sure you will hear a lot about.  I live in Mooresville and I am also a native of North Carolina.
      I am looking forward to a great year in Kindergarten.  I believe that parent-teacher communication is an important part of a successful school year.  Please let me know if you ever have any questions or concerns.
