Welcome to Art at North Iredell High School! Here at North High School we believe that everyone can create. To quote Picasso "All children are artists. The problem is how to remain an artist once he grows up." At North we instill that creative passion and nurture it so that everyone may remain a creative learner for a lifetime.

 

 

I am one of two art teachers at North Iredell High school. I  I am also a professional artist and have entered many shows in the Elkin/Jonesville area. My media of choice are acrylic, drawing, pottery, and photography. I dabble in many other media as well.

 

I have a degree in Art Education from NC A& T State University. I am a NBCT teacher and also hold an add on certificate in Academically Gifted Education. I also hold a Masters in Ediucatonal Leadership from Gardner-Webb University.

 

I have three grown children, and three grandchildren. My children and grandchildren are the light of my life.

 

I have four mischievious cats.
