Classroom Mission Statement
We are a classroom community/family.  We are here to learn First Grade math, reading, and writing.  To do this, we will:
   - Come to school ready to learn.
   - Listen.
   - Follow Classroom Expectations
   - Be Leaders (of ourselves in the classroom and the school)
   - Do our BEST!
 
About Me
I am from the small town of Granite Falls, North Carolina.  I graduated from Western Carolina University's Education Program in  December of 2005.  Then I finished out that school year working for Disney World in Florida before coming back to North Carolina to begin teaching.  I taught First Grade at Pressly for three years, two years in 3rd Grade at East Iredell, and now I am back in First Grade.  I am really excited to be back with the younger ones!

During my free time, I enjoy reading, camping/working at camp, traveling, and enjoying the outdoors.
