Welcome to 4th grade! 

 

We are on a mission in 4th grade to grow our learning so that we will be on grade level in all subjects by year's end. We will do that by having good attendance, listening in class, putting forth our best effort, and mastering new concepts, and passing required tests and assignments. We will work to build life long friendships.

 

      I love teaching at Central. I  have a BA from Mars Hill College, a Masters Degree from Appalachian State University and  National Board Certification. I am married to my high school sweetheart, and have a  beautiful daughter. I love working in my yard and spending time with my family.  I enjoy working with children in all subject areas, but have a special passion for teaching writing. I see elementary school as an opportunity for our students to build a strong foundation for their future. With this strong foundation of academics and learning to work with others, they will have many choices to bring them happiness and success in their futures.
