Welcome to second grade.  I am looking  forward to
an exciting year.  I know with all of us working together
we are going to have a very productive and
successful year.
 
Our Classroom Mission
 
    We, the students of Mrs. Leaptrott's class  are here to learn how
to read, write, and do math better, so we are ready for 3rd Grade.
We will do this by cooperating and helping each other.  We will respect
everyone,  follow the rules and be kind to all.
 
About Me
 

      I was born and raised in Iredell County.  I graduated from
Garden Webb University with a BS degree and Master's degree in
Elementary Education.  My husband Jeff works for
the Statesville Fire Department and I have three
boys,  Russ, Zach and James.  I have been teaching
 at Central since 1985.  I love teaching and
I love teaching at Central School.
