IF Mission Statement
To support schools in the implementation of the Iredell
Statesville Schools Continuous Improvement Model through
collaboration, aligned staff development, and coaching.
My Role as an IF
This is the model that guides my work as an instructional
facilitator with I-SS.

A Bit About Me
This is my first year here at Central Elementary School, but my
ninth year working in an elementary school setting. I have taught
Kindergarten, 2nd grade, 3rd grade, and 4th grade and am excited
about my new role as the Instructional Facilitator here at Central.
I grew up in Spartanburg, SC and currently live in Advance, NC
with my husband, Dave, and our black lab, Mila. We enjoy playing
games together, spending time with family and friends, and
traveling to new places when we can find the time. I love working with teachers and children. In this business, it
really is all about the kids! They are our clients. We are here to
teach them, but more importantly, we are here to make sure
that each of them is truly learning. Children need to know what
they are expected to know, why they need to know it, and how
they're going to learn it. They have a right and a need to be
involved in the learning process everyday. I'm here to help our
teachers make this happen!
